1:40 PM HOT SEATS: Inland Revenue’s Workplace Journey: ‘Better Buildings with Less Building Footprints’

Inland Revenue started looking into their workplace transformation journey last year, though this was put on hold by the Christchurch Earthquake which damaged their offices. This property challenge forced them to start developing a culture of flexibility and agility in response. Now the journey is starting up again with a focus on technology, mobility and designing for the future.

In this session, Hayley will look into:
  • How will they engage people to work at Inland Revenue
  • Looking into new builds and reducing the amount but focusing on quality
  • Technology as an enabler for performance
  • Tailoring workspaces to each function and unique work setting
  • Exploring the benefits of co-design through surveys and observation studies
